My clients wanted a painting to celebrate the best day of their life, and tie in the beautiful location. I was inspired by this wood panel, and wanted to create an almost wood stain look by diluting the paint to be more translucent, allowing the grain to come through. I loved working on the lace and veil. Oil on panel.
